
The amount of adrenaline coursing thru my veins as I crouched over the fuel tank of my ATV with a wide open throttle, throwing dirt behind me as the machine screamed up the hills was amazing. The annual Mesquite Days scheduled for May 2 - 5 includes loads of fun and lots of things to do.
The four day event begins on May 2 with an Old-Time Bakeoff sponsored by the Historical Society. This year's theme is "lemons."
On Thursday, May 3, a local National Day of Prayer begins at 6:00 pm at City Hall.
